Deluxe venue, yummy food, favourable location close to everything. Quiet and new-fashioned rooms with a view, funny staff. A wide array of facilities such as: coffee and tea making equipment, a dining area, and a seating area. Location not far from island, the ferry, and beach and restaurants. Located on a quiet side street.

Title: Perfect Family Retreat on Koh Samet
For dads, it would be great if Baan Minnie provided a designated play area or playground for children. My children wanted a space where they could interact with other kids, play games, and make new friends.

We had a blast with our friends, taking part in all the awesome activities available like snorkeling and fishing. It was non-stop fun and excitement! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the pier and the stunning beach. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and had a kitchen, which made us feel like we were in our own apartment. Plus, we even got a friendly big black dog as a bonus!
But if there's one thing we would've asked for, it would be more options for young party-goers. Although the activities were great for adventure seekers like us, we were hoping for more nightlife and entertainment geared towards young people.

My stay at Baan Minnie was absolutely incredible! The spacious and comfortable rooms made me feel right at home. The outside patio with a barbecue was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the peaceful environment. The location was perfect - close to everything, yet set back on a terrace for a tranquil atmosphere. The owners, Mark and Minnie, were extremely helpful and welcoming hosts. Being in easy walking distance from the pier was very convenient, especially with the affordable ferry ride to Koh Samed. Renting motorbikes to explore the stunning beaches was a must, and the price was reasonable. I particularly enjoyed swimming at Ao Wai, a beach with great tree cover and benches. Baan Minnie provided a fantastic experience, with plenty of food markets nearby for self-catering options. Just keep in mind that eating out and drinks can be pricey if you're on a budget. The staff was friendly, the room was clean with fresh towels, and there was even a cute doggy around. The location, right at the back of the main street, was nice and quiet. I also appreciated the short walk to the beach and main street, where there were plenty of food choices. The big fridge and functional AC were additional conveniences. The wifi was fast and strong, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. I was pleasantly surprised to be given a better room than what I had booked, and the comfort and peace and quiet of the place were amazing. The helpful owner, Mark, provided valuable information about the local area, and the property's proximity to the pier and Sae Kaew beach made it easy to navigate. The one-bed studio flat I rented was perfect for those on a budget, equipped with all the essentials and a porch with seating arrangements. In summary, Baan Minnie is a superb choice for a memorable and affordable stay.

Comfy beds and clean room
Great location near the pier and a beautiful beach. Friendly and helpful hosts
No window in the cheap room, only to the hallway. Lack of basic amenities like hooks in the bathroom and a proper place to wash dishes.
